Israel Radio reports at 2:00 on Sunday that an attempt to blow up the Egyptian natural gas pipeline to Israel and Jordan has failed.
According to the report, six men overpowered a guard at a facility west of El Arish, left an explosive device and fled.
The fuse of the explosive device malfunctioned and Egyptian army sappers were able to defuse the bomb.
