Bodies of three children found in Maryoteya district in Giza

Residents of Maryoteya district in Egypt’s Giza governorate found the bodies of three children wrapped inside plastic bags near an abandoned villa on Tuesday, Al-Ahram Arabic website reported.

The incident sparked a state of fear among residents in the district while police chiefs rushed to the scene.

An investigation team from Giza security directorate is intensifying investigations to disclose the motive behind the crime and to arrest its perpetrators as soon as possible.

Sources said that police is currently working on extracting CCTV footage from surrounding buildings.

Similar incidents in recent years have been linked to human organ trafficking gangs.
