Egypt ‘has something for all’

Prospective expatriates looking to relocate abroad to Egypt will find that they get more for their money in terms of accommodation and entertainment, the country’s tourism board has stated.

Khaled Ramy, UK and Ireland director of the Egyptian State Tourism Office, commented that expats looking to stay in hotels will find four and five-starred accommodation that offers more utilities than anywhere else in the world.

“If you’re in Sharm El Sheikh, you have your own beach, you have your own coral reef, you don’t have to cross a road,” he pointed out, adding that there is something for every expatriate and visitor in the north African state.

“The weather is extremely important, there is sunshine even in the winter months and the waters are warm because it is a coral sea.”

His comments follow research by lowcostholidays.com showing that bookings for holidays to Egypt and other destinations were up by 92 per cent in July from the same month of 2009.
