First Egyptian plane flies to Tehran after 33 years

The first Egyptian plane flew to Tehran after 33 years carrying Iran’s Vice-President and head of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization and accompanying delegation to Tehran on Tuesday.  Hamid Baqaei, heading a delegation started a visit to Egypt last Friday upon the official invitation of Egyptian minister of aviation.

He signed a bilateral agreement with Egypt. The agreement was on aviation cooperation and establishment of a flight line between Cairo and Tehran which was signed by Baqaei and Egyptian Minister of Aviation General Ahmed Shafiq last Sunday.

The Egyptian airline ” ESMART” brought the Iranian delegation to Tehran.
