A MiG-21 training aircraft crashed Wednesday north of Aswan, the military said without specifying what caused the incident.
Military and civil police cordoned the crash site near al-Zeraat area in Ezbet al-Alfi, north of Aswan.
Officials are still searching for the pilot.
