Sand storm to hit Egypt Sunday with low temperatures

Meteorological experts said that Egypt will witness an active sandstorm Sunday, while the temperature will continue to decline with Cairo recording lows of 8°C.

The unstable weather will cause a decline in visibility and a disorder at maritime navigation on the Mediterranean and Red Sea.

Weather forecast experts also indicated an obvious declination in temperature degrees on the northern parts of the country extending to southern Upper Egypt. Besides, a very cold weather accompanied by rains will be witnessed in the Center Sinai and the northern of Upper Egypt.

Low and moderate clouds are condensed on the northern parts of the country; accompanied by heavy rainfall on the North coasts.

The expected temperature degree on Sunday comes as follows: 

Cairo will record highs of 15°C and lows of 8 °C; Alexandria will record highs of 15°C and lows of 6°C; Marsa Matrouh will record highs of 16 °C and lows of 6 °C; Sohag will record see highs of 16°C and lows of 8°C; Qena will see highs 17°C and lows 8°C, Aswan will see highs of 20°C and lows of 9°C and Saint Catherine will see highs of 12°C and lows 4°C.

Moreover, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned of unstable weather over the coming 72 hours on the Mediterranean.
