Sixteen international and regional airline companies canceled flights to and from Cairo due to high numbers of empty seats.
Sources from Cairo International Airport said they were notified by 16 airline companies, including Middle East Airlines, Kuwaiti Airways, Emirates Airlines, Saudi Air lines, Delta and German airlines, that they had canceled their flights. British Airlines rescheduled flights to 4PM instead of midnight until Friday.
Egypt Airlines decreased its international and local flights to 38 rather than the 40 that were scheduled to operate on Sunday.
