Meteorologists forecast pleasant temperatures in the north for Monday, with highs of 24C expected in Cairo and 21C in Alexandria.
Low- and medium-level clouds will be seen in the north. Visibility will be reduced in the morning due to mist across north coasts, canal provinces, Delta and Cairo.
Moderate northeastern winds will blow across the Sinai peninsula, whipping up sand and dust in the south, the Suez Gulf and the Red Sea which will disturb maritime navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean will reach 1-1.5 meters in height and 2.5-3 meters in the Red Sea, with northwestern wind prevailing on both seas.
Mild temperatures will be felt in Upper Egypt during the daytime. Highs of 30C are expected in Qena, 32C in Luxor and 34C in Aswan.
