SOHAG, Egypt: Civil protection forces and bomb squad administration at Sohag security directorate were able to defuse two bombs on Saturday morning.
The first is a high 95 percent explosive and the second is medium 75 percent explosive. The bombs were found in the Culture Square in Sohag, where celebrations of the January 25 Revolution anniversary were going to take place on Saturday.
Civil Protection forces found suspicious objects while they were checking the area where celebrations to take place at the Culture Square. After checking, they found what seemed to be improvised bombs.
The two bombs were deactivated and all the necessary measures have been taken to comb the area. A report is being writing with the incident and the prosecution will begin the investigation.
