The Greater Cairo Water Company declared it would shut off the water in 12 regions from 10:00 p.m .on Wednesday to 6:00 a.m. on Thursday.
The company said it would perform required maintenance works in preparation for summer in the Helwan, Atsa and Tebin regions.
The company called on citizens, bakeries and hospitals located in these regions to prepare for their water needs during the mentioned period, and would also provide emergency water supplies.
