The police arrested 61 Pro-Muslim Brotherhood protesters across Egypt on Friday, said an interior ministry statement. The arrested possessed firearms and Molotov cocktails, according to the statement. The statement added that a Brotherhood leader was among the arrested. Security forces dispersed demonstrations supporting former President Mohamed Mursi in several governorates.The National Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy has called for week-long protests starting Friday to support the “students’ movement.” At least five people were killed last week during clashes.
