Senior police official for Central Security Forces affairs killed in car bomb
Ahmed Zaki, a Brigadier General, has been killed by a bomb placed underneath his car in October 6 City.
According to initial security reports, the bomb went off after the senior police official started his car. While initial reports stated he had simply been injured, reports now state that the official has been killed.
Police and military officials have been the target of numerous attacks since the ouster of deposed President Mohammed Morsi. There is currently no further information available.
