A ceremony will be held on Friday at Sphinx to watch the total solar eclipse phenomenon, which will be seen in Egypt as partial eclipse.
The event, sponsored by Antiquities Minister Mamdouh al-Damaty, will be organized by administration of Haram archaeological site in collaboration with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.
The eclipse will be visible in Egypt from 11:10 am to 12:30 pm.
