Airspace over Cairo airport closed for Air Force training

Air traffic at Cairo International Airport has returned to normal, an air traffic controller confirmed, after the airspace was closed between 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday for the Egyptian Air Force to train.

Air navigation has returned to its regular schedule, with special priority placed on the departure of flights heading to Europe, the source told Al-Masry Al-Youm. No flights were delayed or canceled.
