President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi received on Monday Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, king of Bahrain. The two discussed topics related to the upcoming Arab Summit, which will take place in Jordan on 29Â March.
According to a presidential statement, Al-Sisi and Khalifa held a closed session of bilateral talks, followed by an expanded meeting attended by ministers and senior officials from the two sides.
The statement added that Khalifa commended Egypt’s contributions to support the development process in Bahrain over many years, in addition to its pivotal and significant role in serving Arab causes and enhancing joint Arab solidarity, asserting his country’s support of Egypt’s counterterrorism efforts.
