An Egyptian officer was shot dead and two others were injured by Jihadists in Egypt’s el-Arish city, according to Egyptian security sources. A security official told Ma’an that an army officer was shot in his waist while he was stationed on top of an armored vehicle in the al-Dahiya neighborhood of el-Arish in the North Sinai district. Bakr Muhammad Uleiwa, 20 was then evacuated to a military hospital in el-Arish where medics pronounced him dead shortly after arrival. Egyptian security sources had said Monday that three officers were shot and injured by Jihadist gunmen.
