The Muslim Brotherhood condemned the “cowardly” bombings in Cairo on Friday on their Twitter account and held the authorities accountable for deteriorating security and failing to investigate previous attacks.
Three bombings hit the Egyptian capital early Friday, so far killing five and injuring dozens.
The coordinator of the National Alliance to Support Legitimacy, Magdy Qorqor said it is expected that the authorities would blame the members of the Brotherhood and the alliance for the bombing to justify violence and repression against “pro-legitimacy protesters” on the anniversary of the January 25 Revolution.
