Sherif Shawqy, the prime minister’s media adviser, said curfew will not change during Eid vacation.
Shawqi told Al-Masry Al-Youm on Monday there is currently no need to change the curfew hours to preserve security. Curfew will continue to start from midnight to 5am except on Friday, when it starts from 7pm until 5am.
