Cold weather is predicted in the north of Egypt on Monday, according to meteorologists. Low- and medium-level clouds will be seen, accompanied by rain on northern coasts.
Highs of 17 degrees centigrade will be reached in Cairo and 18 degrees in Alexandria.
Moderate northwesterly wind will blow occasionally on South Sinai, Upper Egypt, the Red Sea and western Mediterranean, disturbing maritime navigation.
The expected height of Mediterranean waves will be between 2.5 to three meters, with surface westerly winds blowing, compared to a height of two to 2.5 meters in Red Sea with northwesterly winds.
Mild weather will be felt in Upper Egypt during the daytime, turning extremely cold at night.
Highs of 20 degrees will be reached in Qena, Luxor and Aswan.
