According to Haaretz, hundreds of tourists, including dozens of Israeli tourists, are stranded in Taba as the crossing was forced to shut down.
At the Movenpick Hotel in Taba, the lobby and basement have become flooded. Water has also reached the first two floors of the hotel. Tourists have also stated that the hotel’s electricity cut off during the floods.
