Eid Al-Fitr holiday to start Tuesday in Egypt: Cabinet

Egypt’s Prime Minister Sherif Ismail stated that the Islamic Eid Al-Fitr holiday will start Tuesday and run for three days, the cabinet said in a statement Thursday.

Employees in ministries, governmental authorities, the public sector and other state-owned institutions will take the three days off work for the holiday, the statement added.

Eid Al-Fitr is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide to mark the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
