Fire exchange kills two in Egypt’s Nile Delta

Two people, including a policeman, were killed on Wednesday morning after an exchange of fire with “terrorists” in the Nile Delta city of Qalyubia, security sources told the state news agency.

“The special operations forces raided one of the most dangerous hideouts for terrorists in Qaluyubia and exchanged fire with them,” MENA quoted the security source.

He added that the forces detonated “a large number of boxes that contained high explosives.”
