Unknown assailants opened fire on a Damietta police station early on Tuesday before running away.
A security source told Aswat Masriya that the attackers, who were in a red pick-up truck, fired several rounds of fire on the station, but the attack did not result in any casualties.
Security forces are currently investigating the incident to identify the perpetrators and reveal their reasons.
