Health Ministry: 13 dead, 60 injured during poll on constitution

Egypt’s Health Ministry has said that 13 people died and 60 were injured during the voting process on the newly-written constitution.

The referendum took place at polling stations in all governorates on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Nine were killed while four died a natural death, the ministry said in a statement issued on Thursday.

Of the 60 injured, 44 left hospital while 16 were kept under observation, the statement added.
