Heat wave to hit Egypt; 38 degrees expected in Cairo

Egypt is expecting an extreme heat wave accompanied by a dust storm for two days starting Tuesday, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority.

The temperature degree in Cairo may reach 38 degrees Celsius, and there will be a dust storm in some areas, Waheed Saoudi, the authority’s spokesperson told Youm7 Monday.

He added that the hot temperatures will relent by Thursday, and are expected to fall back to 15 degrees.

Saoudi advised citizens not to wear light clothes during the night hours since this week will witness rapid weather changes.
