Two people suffered minor injuries following the explosion of a homemade bomb in Tanta on Wednesday, north of Cairo, a security source told Aswat Masriya.

The wounded citizens were riding in a Tok Tok, a traditional means of transportation in local areas, at the entrance of Kafr al-Zayat city when the bomb went off.

“Unidentified men planted the bomb at the entrance of Kafr al-Zayat on Wednesday morning,” the security source who preferred anonymity said.
