Masked gunmen attacked passenger train No. 550 in Shebin al-Qanater, coming from Tanta governorate, and threatened to blow up the train if it did not stop on Saturday.
Police forces reached the train in Shebin al-Qanater in Qalyubia to Cairo that was under the hostage of four unidentified armed men. The men escaped as soon as police arrived, security officials said on Saturday.
