Mursi supporters call for million-man march on Tuesday

The National Alliance to Support Legitimacy, that groups supporters of ousted President Mohamed Mursi, has called for demonstrations this Friday to push for the independence of the judiciary.

The alliance criticized in a statement on Saturday what it described as an aggression on the judges who call for the judiciary’s independence.

The alliance said that seven judges were referred to questioning and even attacked by the police for raising the issue.

Mursi’s supporters have been protesting since the army ousted him in July in response to mass demonstrations calling for his resignation.
