An Egyptian criminal court has adjourned the trial of ousted President Mohamed Mursi and 131 others in the Wadi al-Natroon prison break case to February 24.
The Muslim Brotherhood leaders are accused of collaborating with international bodies to escape prison during the 2011 uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak.
Earlier in Saturday’s hearing, a judge fined Mursi and others 1 billion Egyptian pounds as an initial compensation for the damages resulted from the prison break, including some deaths.
