A Cairo criminal court will resume the trial of ousted President Mohamed Mursi and 131 others in the Wadi al-Natroon prison break case on Wednesday.
The Muslim Brotherhood leaders are accused of collaborating with international bodies, the Palestinian Hamas and Lebanese Hezb Allah, to escape prison during the 2011 uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak.
They are charged with murder and attempted murder of policemen, torching government buildings, breaking into prison and helping prisoners escape.
The court is scheduled to hear witnesses in the case today.
