Nahda Square dispersed, arrests of senior Muslim Brotherhood leaders reported Nahda Square has been cleared of Morsi supporters after police forces moved to disperse the sit-in. Dozens of Morsi supporters are said to have been arrested in possession of illegal firearms and other weaponry. At Rabaa, reports indicate a gas-station nearby has exploded, and that Morsi supporters have set fire to several vehicles and tents in attempts to slow down dispersal attempts by the police. Reports, spread by State News, indicate that several leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood have been arrested. El-Watan claims this includes Safwat Hegazi and Mohammed Al-Beltagy. Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood now claims that 120 Morsi supporters have been killed. In response, the Islamist Anti-Coup Coalition has called on Egyptians to take to the streets and demand an end to this “massacre.”
