The official death toll of Saturday’s clashes reached 29 deaths and 167 injuries, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Ahmed Kamel said to Al-Hayat channel on Saturday.
The death toll included 2 deaths in the Upper Egypt governorate of Minya, 8 deaths in Giza, 18 deaths in Cairo and one in Alexandria resulted from the clashes that took place during the third anniversary of the January 25 Revolution, Kamel added.
37 out of the 167 injured have recovered and left hospitals nationwide and 144 ambulances rushed to the locations of the clashes on Saturday, he added.
