Security thwarts two attack attempts on police stations in Giza

Security agencies in Giza thwarted two attempts of Muslim Brotherhood members who tried to break into police station Atfeeh, possessing Molotov cocktails, bombs, machine guns, and bullets.

Security forces in front of the police station suspected one person trying to enter the station violently; after inspecting him, security found Molotov and bombs to explode the building.

The defendant admitted to possessing all those weapons and he was referred to prosecution for investigations.

Security source at Giza Security Directorate said that the forces thwarted another attempt of five people trying to attack police authorities using guns and Molotov cocktails on Saturday.

Security arrested them in possession of machine guns and Molotov cocktails. They had planned to set fire to tires to nearby police stations to distract police forces while shooting fire at police stations.

Police arrested one of them, filed report against him, and is searching for the other four.
