The Tamarod “Rebel” Campaign called for rallying on Thursday morning to perform the Eid prayers in Tahrir Square and at the Ittihadeya presidential palace in Cairo as well as in main squares in various governorates. In a statement it issued on Wednesday, the campaign said that the revolution’s atmosphere prevails during Eid al-Fitr this year. The Muslim Brotherhood attempts to organize demonstrations and marches to support former president Mohamed Mursi at a time when the Egyptian people affirm their support for the military institution’s intervention to back the revolution and put it on the right course.
