Tourists Rescued from Sinking Boat in Egypt’s Red Sea – Report

Thirty people, including 19 Russian tourists and 11 Egyptian crew, have been rescued from a sinking boat in the Red Sea, US media reported Saturday.

The Associated Press cited an Egyptian security official who spoke on condition of anonymity as saying the Mary Lou boat was carrying the tourists on a diving trip from the port of Safaga on the Red Sea coast.

The official said parts of the boat were flooded by strong winds and high waves.
