A police vehicle carrying four conscripts on the ring road near Giza’s Nahya district was attacked by unidentified armed assailants on Tuesday morning leaving two injured, Ahram Arabic news website reported.
The two injured conscripts have been transported to hospital.
Tens of security personnel have been killed in drive-by shootings believed to be carried out by Islamist militants in Cairo and other cities since the ouster of Mohamed Morsi in 2013.
