Two of Egypt’s main highways reopened after two-hour closure

The Cairo—Alexandria and Wadi Al-Natrun—Al-Alamein roads, two of Egypt’s main highways, were reopened on Wednesday midday after closing for two hours due to heavy fog, Al-Ahram Arabic Website reported.

Egyptian authorities closed the highways Wednesday morning to avoid accidents caused by poor-visibility.

Moderate weather is expected Wednesday all over Egypt, with temperatures in the 20s in Cairo and Upper Egypt during the day, cooling off to the low teens at night, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority forecasted on Tuesday.
