Warraq church shooting claims fifth victim: sources

Sunday’s Warraq church shooting in north Cairo has claimed its fifth victim, after 17-year-old Mohamed Ibrahim died from his injuries in hospital on Thursday, a security source revealed.

Ibrahim suffered a gunshot wound to his abdomen, the source said, and died in Nasser Institute Hospital on Thursday.

Unidentified gunmen attacked the church on Sunday during a wedding ceremony and shot indiscriminately while guests walked out of the church. Four people died, including two minors, while 18 others were wounded, including three Muslims.
