Interior Minister issues decision regulating entry visa to Egypt

Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar issued on Thursday 16/02/2017 a decision regulating entry, exit and residence of foreigners in Egypt as well as new fees for visas.

The decree stipulates raising fees to EGP 400 for single-entry visas and EGP 500 for multi-entry visas and EGP 100 for diplomats’ single-entry visas and EGP 125 for multi-entry visas.

Concerning non-tourist purposes, the fees were raised to EGP 120 for single-entry visas and EGP 125 for multi-entry visas.

According to the decision, foreigners of special residence will be granted visas valid for 10 years while those of regular residence will be granted visas valid for five years with fees reaching EGP 500 for every year.
