Man arrested at pro-Mursi protest with torture images – official

interior ministryEgypt’s interior ministry said on its Facebook page on Thursday that it has found images of tortured bodies with an unemployed man it arrested for attacking a police officer at a sit-in demanding the reinstatement of President Mohamed Mursi. The man was also a suspect in violent confrontations that broke out near the Heliopolis presidential palace last December when Mursi’s supporters forcibly dispersed a sit-in held by his opponents. After searching him for riding a motorcycle without a license plate at the Rabaa al-Adaweya protest, the authorities found images of the suspect carrying a rifle on his mobile phone as well as images of tortured bodies.
