Salafi party to reconsider roadmap if Egypt’s Islamic identity is compromised

The Salafi Nour Party will reconsider its commitment to the roadmap proposed by the armed forces if this map is amended in a way that compromises Egypt’s Islamic identity, said Nader Bakkar, the party’s spokesman. All national figures and powers that took part in putting a roadmap after the ouster of former president Mohamed Mursi have agreed to maintain the state’s Islamic identity, the state news agency reported Bakkar as telling CNN.
