A man threw himself in front of a Cairo underground train early Saturday, halting Metro services for 10 minutes, a statement by the Metro Authority read.
The incident took place in Al-Mazalat station and was reported to the police for further investigations.
It is the second suicide to take place in Egypt’s Metro in less than 24 hours.
On Friday, a man committed suicide in front of a train in Attaba underground station, causing trains to be stopped for 12 minutes.
