The Egyptian people will not accept the return of the “corrupt” National Democratic Party (NDP) and the “arrogant and conceited” Muslim Brotherhood, said Hamdeen Sabahi, the Popular Current’s founder. In an interview with Russia Today, Sabahi, a defeated presidential candidate, said that the future president should be a pure example of the revolutionary, popular choice which stood up to the regimes of former presidents Hosni Mubarak and Mohamed Mursi.
